Okay if you follow me literally anywhere you already know… Chloe is a fucking icon!

I don’t take on many senior sessions just because weddings are my main niche but maaaan did this girl have me questioning all of it!

We had booked her summer and fall sessions before I had gotten my new backdrops! I reached out and asked if they’d be up for helping me try em’ out! Instantly said yes!

Chloe and these backdrops I honestly don’t know if I could pick a favorite color with her. The green is empowering, she absolutely owned it and the purple and pink bring out the little glimpse of the little girl I can imagine she used to be.

Now i’m not going to lie to you Chloe is family. She is my husbands cousin and I had honestly not really talked to a lot of his extended family and I was pretty nervous! When Chloe and Wendee (Chloe’s mom) Came to the house for the first shoot they didn’t make me fee uncomfortable at all and Wendee actually helped keep the kids occupied while Chloe and I got to work!

Now Chloe made quite the impact on my oldest Layla. Layla was obsessed with seeing her again. She always talked about them and how beautiful Chloe is. So we decided to let Austin and the kids tag along for our second shoot!

I know what you’re thinking… WHO EVEN LOOKS LIKE THAT!

Chloe chose downtown Iowa City for her summer shoot which was my first time shooting there. IT DID NOT DISAPOINT! The light was peaking around and through the buildings at the best times! The colorful wall! I mean come on! Then Wendee had the idea to get some ice cream!

Not only did she get her and Chloe an ice cream she got my kids one as well and let me tell you the ice cream shots are some of my favorites! I LOVE when clients incorporate things they love!

Chloes final shoot was held in the fall at Kent Park. IT WAS GORGEOUS! SHE WAS GORGEOUS! Her outfits were iconic and she was into it and ready! Chloe during all three shoots seemed to be absolutely made to be behind the camera! There was almost no prompting at all. She was amazing.

As I said earlier Layla was pretty impacted by Chloe. She had started begging me to do shoots and she wanted to do all the same poses Chloe did. The iconic hair flip I’m obsessed with, yeah Layla insisted on doing it!

Chloe was an absolute dream to shoot! I am hoping I have the opportunity to work with her again in the future!
